Andrea McKinney has been a dedicated Jr-K and elementary school teacher
for over 20 years. She has taught multiple grade levels within the
elementary school system.
Mrs. McKinney has a distinguished career. She has been honored as "Teacher of the Year" at Payne Elementary School (Inglewood, CA) in 1995. After moving to North Carolina, she was selected as the Ben Craig "Teacher Of The Year" recipient as well as a finalist for Harris Teacher of the Year for her outstanding work at Blythe Elementary School in 1998.
Since 2001 she has successfully grown the academically based Jr-K program with McKinney Care Academy, a program with the focus of 'Bridging the Gap from Preschool to Kindergarten.'

About Ms. Moske
For years, Elaine Moske and Headmistress Andrea McKinney have shared ideas and teaching styles as they led Jr-Kindergartners on a learning experience of a lifetime. Ms. Moske at Chesterbrook Academy and Ms. McKinney at McKinney Care Academy hoped to one day work side-by-side as a team. Today the dream is realized as the two inspire four and five year olds in the McKinney Care Academy Jr-Kindergarten classroom.
Ms. Moske has over a decade of experience that ranges from the Blythe Elementary Literacy Team to Lead Jr-K teacher at Chesterbrook Academy in Huntersville. Her warm spirit and love of learning will be evident as she inspires McKinney Care Academy’s youngest students.
